The recording was made from a small kitchen measuring 3mx2. 5m during a heavy downpour outside the window with thunderclaps. Gradually the rain gets quieter. Recorded with rode tng-2 microphone and zoom h6 recorder.

A storm recorded with the window open - hailstones hitting the window. Lots of rain and water noises, loud thunder and a couple of firetrucks which are speeding of with sirens. The firestation is right next to my appartement.

Recorded in stockholm a rainy summer day. Standing on the 6th floor recording from the balcony. The storm starts close and moves away from the mic. I picked up some cars in the clip, and the neighbours shouts at 09:10. Recorded with a zoom h6 in stereo.

The clip contains rain falling on a wooden deck and recurring peals of thunder both near and far. This original recording was made using a zoom h-6 handy recorder with zoom stereo xy microphone. The track was edited in audacity 2. 0. 6 to remove a few artifacts. Total run time for this wav file is: 8:29. This is my first upload. I am hearing impaired and new to field audio recording. I am fascinated by this art form and hearing sounds that i haven’t been able to hear in twenty years. This is a field recording, done using a zoom h6 with attached stereo mic. The limiter (general type) was activated on the channel. This is the raw recording without any eq or dynamics added. A quick normalization gave a nice, rich signal that you might be able to use for any purpose. Apply a low pass filter to cut out the rain. Well, enjoy. :). More of this will be uploaded.

There are nearly 3000 files here with the tag "thunder". . This is one of them. This one had the strike maybe a quarter mile / half km away, spring storm on the south end of denver, co. , usa. Recorded with a zoom h4n, internal mics at 120'. Raw file, no processing.

We were having a small rainstorm, so i thought i'd go out and record the rain. As you can see, (or hear!), i got much more than that! this is the complete original audio, all unedited. It sounds as if the lightning struck at least three times! enjoy! (i know i do!).
